The Griffith Observatory is a facility in Los Angeles, California, sitting on the south-facing slope of Mount Hollywood in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park. It commands a view of the Los Angeles Basin, including Downtown Los Angeles to the southeast, Hollywood to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the southwest. There are a variety of activities that can be done, peer through historic telescopes, see a planetarium show, explore interactive science exhibits, and take in iconic views and walk the grounds

We went on a Sunday night (full moon), and it was very crowded. I would recommend going when it isn't crowded
